A wonderful lady has just told me about your Donkeys - you are collocting today in Stoke on Trent - and I have jumped onto your site.
What a wonderful charity. If you email me at justdandycreative@talktalk.net (home) I will add you to my donations list (not much, as spread about... animal charities mostly, but it all helps!) Keep up the good work! and give your staff or volunteers who are collecting a big thumbs up for their good attitude in this cold weather!

Hi, I have just had one of the most amazing experinces today. I have seen your beautiful ponies bonnie and lady in manchester in market street they were amazing with the children and people. Why have we not seen you before in manchester? I think this is a brilliant charity and would like to see you in manchester again soon. My children have not stopped talking about bonnie and lady. I must also say your volunteers are very well informed about the charity. I had a chat with all three of the ladys that was in the town and they were very well mannered and well spoken. This is a major change to what were used to trying to avoid beggers big issue and charties that want direct debit details. When are you next in manchester as I will definitly be going to visit your in manchester again with my children. ONE WORD fantastic I would definitly say that you are the best childrens charity in the uk. Thank you very much for coming and come again soon please. s

Hi, I've just met Teddy, the Big Issue seller outside M&S in Shirley who is doing the Bupa Birmingham run in October to fundraise for the Phoenix Children's Foundation. He's been selling the magazine there for some time now, and is always really friendly - a credit to the scheme. I was really touched when I learned some of his history, and will be making a donation to Phoenix through the 'Teddy's story' link on this website's main page to support his fundraising. Teddy - good luck with everything, including reaching your fundraising target for Phoenix!

I am leaving a message in this guestbook because I have recently made contact with regards to donating some of my unwanted bric a brac and I came across the phoenix foundation by looking through year old Leicester Mercury papers I had to finally go through and recycle.

I believe that giving to one chairty or foundation is never as good as giving something to many.

I hope that if they can take some of my unwanted items that they will benefit from in doing so.

Today - 12th October I came across your staff and pony in Peterborough city centre. It's easy to call "please help children's charity". Because the city recently prosecuted a man falsely claiming to collect for the armed forces I was slighty suspicioous so got down to take a closer look at the details on the colleaction buckets. I was approached by the friendly girl who told me you are a registered charity I then explained why I wanted to have more info. Her partner came and gave me a 'card' which offered me the chance to get in touch via your website. This was very reassuring and so I am happy to say my £5 donation went in willing. I work with deafblind people and I know exactly the enjoyment they get from greeting/riding these very special horses.
