Sponsor a Pony

This is a new scheme developed by The Phoenix Children’s Foundation. A charity who’s aims are to enhance the quality of life for disabled and terminally ill children in as many ways as possible.

The Phoenix Ponies have been especially chosen with the help of the breeder Joyce Morgan of the Moore Joy Stud, for their excellent temperament, patience and sociability.

The ponies are a fantastic asset and greatly enhance any venue they attend. Disabled and able bodied people alike seem to relate to the magical atmosphere they create. They bring a breath of fresh air, and their presence seems to alleviate the stresses and strains from normal every day life.

We have helped lots of children by donating much needed equipment and toys to various hospitals, individual children, other needy charities and care facilities throughout the UK.

The main purpose of the scheme is to raise extra funds to be used towards the upkeep of the ponies to include hoof trimming, vaccinations, worming, provision of rugs etc.

The cost to sponsor a pony is a minimum of £5.00 per month, for which you will receive a yearly newsletter, Birthday and Christmas Cards.

A photograph of your chosen pony will be sent to you on receipt of your first monthly payment.

Hello, my name is Bambi. I am a dark bay and I am 21 years old. My best friend is Lotty and she is my stable mate. We have had lots of experience of working with the charity and have met lots of children.

~ Lottie ~

Hello, my name is Lotty. I am 16 years old, a chestnut with a mushroom coloured mane and tail. Because I am the eldest of the ponies I have to keep them all in check.

~ Jasmine ~

Hi, my name is Jasmine. I am the 2nd youngest of the ponies, only 3 years old. I am a chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail . My tail is lovely, but my mane is a bit fluffy because I am still a baby. I am pictured with my friend Alex. I like Alex because he brings me my food!

~Jigsaw~

Hi my name is Jigsaw. I am a piebald (black and white) pony and am only 8 months old. I am the new boy down at the yard, and in training at the moment, but will soon be out and about with my new friends.

~Bonnie~

Hello—My name is Bonny. I am a 7 year old Bay with a black mane and tail. My coat is very shiny, and I love to be stroked.

~Tia~

Hi, my name is Tia, I am a beautiful chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. I am 7 years old. I am a very energetic, lively pony as you can see by my picture. I love to run around the paddock, showing off to my friends.

~Bruno~

Hi, my name is Bruno, I am 9 years old. My mum died when she was giving birth to me, so I was hand reared and had to be bottle fed for a while, which is why I am always sticking out my tongue! I get lots of attention and fuss when I go out and I love my work.
